Language is the act of self-expression through symbols. It encompasses a multitude of expressions far beyond the Western concept of the spoken or written word.

Many fluent speakers and readers often fail to grasp the idea of cryptography within language—that to truly understand something, one must break it down, not simply find a translation book and assign meanings. For example, someone wearing dark lipstick and dark eyeshadow might represent a certain aesthetic in the West, such as rebellion or melancholy. However, other cultures may use the same visual symbols to convey entirely different meanings. To appreciate these nuances, one must take the time to understand them.

This requires becoming worldly—travelers of language and symbology. Women often make the mistake of assuming that men are capable of understanding these deeper layers of symbolic language. But to be a master of language is not merely to express oneself; it is also to convey one's inner world through symbolic dilation, to attract one's ideal partner or convey a specific concept—especially when one feels like a stranger in a strange land.

That’s how I often view myself. The Western concept of symbols and language feels alien to me. But I digress.A man must be initiated into your world. Otherwise, he becomes a cultural shock—an outsider—or simply a region within the symbolic boundaries of his own culture.   If you know anything about Western civilizations, you know they often operate as closed systems.
